Two such classes are:
Character Makeup (3 weeks) - March 7th, 2016 -March 25th, 2016
This workshop was designed to introduce artists who are already working in the makeup artistry field to character makeup and consists of the most requested makeup applications and up-to-date techniques, including:
- Laying facial hair
- Prepping / applying wool crepe hair (sideburns, mustache, beard)
- Aging, including stretch and stipple advanced aging techniques
- Applying / removing a latex bald cap
- Applying / removing a vinyl bald cap
- Advance painting techniques for a realistic appearance
- Tattoo transfer application
- Creating a fullcharacter look incorporating hair, aging, bald cap
SFX (2 weeks) - March 28, 2016 -April 8, 2016
This workshop was designed to introduce artists who are already working in the makeup artistry field to SFX makeup and consists of the most requested makeup applications and up-to-date techniques, including:
- Black eyes
- Bruises
- Broken nose
- Cuts, scars, scrapes, wounds, burns
- Tattoo transfers
- Applying / painting a gelatin appliance
- Applying / painting a silicone appliance
- Applying / painting a latex appliance
- Applying pros-aide transfer appliance
- Wounds using advance FX techniques
- Zombie
- Diseased skin effect
