OVERVIEW: The Beauty Bridal Basics Workshop is an intensive two-day training course focused on elevating your already existing makeup skills to take your career to the next level. This advanced class will brush up your knowledge on basic bridal and beauty makeup, and then teach you how to perfect your application.

Day 1

Introduction to Maquillage The Makeup Academy 2 Day Beauty Workshop

(Lecture) UNDERSTANDING OF HEALTH AND HYGIENE

(Lecture/Demo) HOW TO SET UP A MAKEUP STATION AND KEEP PROFESSIONALISM
During this hour instructor will go over student work sheet on the proper way to set up a makeup station, sanitizing tools, and maintaining professionalism.

(Lecture/Demo) Facial Structure/Highlight & Contour/Eye Shape/Blush
Instructor will review the underlined techniques with the students by referencing the worksheet given, and perform a classic makeup demo.

The last 30 minutes of class will be used to take pictures of their makeup application, clean makeup station and pack their kit.

Day 2

(Lecture) Introduction to Bridal Industry

(Lecture) Seasonal Bridal Makeup Looks
Students will review the work sheet given about seasonal bridal makeup looks, and will be shown examples of all for season.

Seasonal Bridal Makeup Demo
This demo will include highlighting techniques, false eye lash application.

11:30am-12pm
Special Occasion Makeup Demo
During this demo instructor will transform bridal look this into an evening special occasion makeup by intensifying shadow and use of black eyeliner.

(Lunch)

Students will be given 1 hour & 45 minutes to complete their bridal look and transform it to an evening special occasion look.

(Student "A" Makeup Application)

(Student "B" Makeup Application)

4:30pm-5:00pm

The last 30 minutes of class will be used to take pictures of their makeup application, distribute student certificate of completion, clean makeup station and pack their kit.

REQUIREMENTS: Workshop is designed for students or professionals in the beauty Industry. Must bring their own beauty makeup kit.
