The Advanced New Media Workshop

OVERVIEW: The Advanced Multimedia Workshop was designed to ensure that any artist that completes our workshop is prepared to begin a career in media. The class will highlight makeup for Commercial, TV production, as well as a full day of Music Video makeup and artist development.

Day 1

(Lecture) Introduction to Media Makeup

9:30am-10:30am
(Lecture/Demo) Men's Grooming Techniques.
Instructor will review Men's Grooming Techniques with students by going over the student their student handout, at this time a full demo of men's grooming will be done.

(Lecture/Demo) TV & Commercial Makeup.
Instructor will lecture and go over student handout regarding TV and Commercial Makeup and perform a full face demo.

The last 30 minutes of class will be used to take pictures of their makeup application, clean makeup station and pack their kit.

Intro to Music Video Makeup
Instructing in how to break into the music industry, network, gaining celebrity clients, and obtaining a kit fee.

(Lecture) Developing a Performer/Artist Image
Lecture on how marketing teams, stylist, and artist come together for artist development. Intro to storyboard.

(Demo) 
Instructor will perform a full face Music Celebrity Inspired Makeup Demo.

REQUIREMENTS: Workshop is designed for students or professionals in the beauty Industry. Must bring their own beauty makeup kit.
