5 Day Character & SFX Makeup Boot Camp

Duration: 5 Days = 35 Hours w/ 1 Hour Lunch Breaks

Date: October 7th - 11th of 2019 

Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM

OVERVIEW: 

The character & SFX makeup boot camp is designed as an intro to makeup artist that are working in New Media.

This boot camp consist of the most requested makeup application with up to date techniques. 

DAY 1:  BALD CAP

• Application/Removing a Vinyl Bald Cap

• Painting techniques for a realistic appearance

DAY 2:  FACIAL HAIR APPLICATION

• Laying Facial Hair

• Preparing/Applying Wool Crepe Hair (Mustache/Beard)

• Lace Hair Piece Application (Cleaning, Applying, Adjusting)

DAY 3:  OLD AGE MAKEUP

• Cream, Paint & Powder for aging makeup

• Stretch and Stipple Advanced Aging Techniques

DAY 4:  BASIC SFX

• Black Eyes & Wounds with Cream and Alcohol, Dirt, Teeth, Scrapes

• How to use materials like 3rd Degree to create cuts, bullet holes, broken nose, and other injuries.

• How to use Rigid Collodion to create scars

DAY 5:  BASIC SFX & Review

• How to use materials as 3D Gelatin

• Burns 1st, 2nd & 3rd Degree

• Review of the entire course of study

• Hand out of Certifications

Note: The price includes the rental equipment for Bald Cap & Facial Hair. 

Hackels , Clamps, Marcel Irons, Red-Heads, Tuffy Heads, Steam Pots

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Workshop is designed for students and professionals with experience in the makeup artistry field.

• Must bring a Character & SFX makeup kit

• List of Materials will be provided
